SuPER-W is a "European Joint Doctorate" programme for highly motivated young scientists, combining state-of-the-art research with a comprehensive joint training programme on Resource, Product and Energy Recovery from Wastewater with a strong collaboration between academic and private partners.
The network is funded by the European Community. Through the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks the European Commission makes research careers more attractive to young people.

The project has started on March 1st, 2016 and will run over a period of four years. The programme offers early-stage researchers (ESRs) the opportunity to join established research teams, improve their research skills, and enhance their career prospects.

5 academic partner institutions and 12 non-academic partners from different European countries, including industrial partners involved in technology development, SMEs focused on consultancy/engineering, a service provider, a government agency, and professional network organisations.
Training Programme (read more)
It combines local expert training at each academic and non-academic partner organisation, a network-wide secondment scheme, internships and an intense series of network-wide training sessions, workshops and seminars.
Fellowships (read more) or own funding
SuPER-W awards 3-year PhD scholarships to 15 ESRs.
Also young researchers having own funding to conduct PhD research can apply to conduct research under the wings of the SuPER-W staff members, and join the network and the training programme.
